Destined for Grace exists due to your generous donations. It is extremely important that we receive donations so that we can further our work in Haiti and provide children with love, hope and faith.

Donate $100 in and receive a $25 gift card to The Boat House

We are giving gift cards to the first 16 people who donate $100 toward our school.  Gift cards are for The Boat House, Casa Blanca and The Fish House.  You can send in a check to P.O. Box 925 Carpinteria, Ca  93104, bring in a check or pay with credit card at one of our three stores or donate online.  Make sure to indicate which gift card you would prefer in the memo line.  When all 16 gift cards are taken we will take this notice down.  Available while supplies last.

Current Need

A new kitchen!  With our food program up and running it is important that we provide a clean safe kitchen for our cooks to prepare meals for our students.  The projected cost for a new kitchen and patio is $10,000.  We have currently raised $5,000; please consider donating to help us raise the remaining $5,000.

Sponsor a Child

If you would like to sponsor a child’s education at our school in Haiti you can do so for $125 a year.  This includes a meal a day for your student, a uniform, basic school supplies and a solar light.  Please send a check to our mailing address P.O. Box 925 Carpinteria, CA 93104 and indicate in the memo line that it is for a eduction sponsorship and we will match you up with one of our students.  You can also donate online through PayPal just use the DONATE button above.

We can always use general donations for ongoing programs at our school to provide our students with a well rounded education.  Our current need is to purchase Creole Bibles that we would like to distribute to our students and their families.

Thrift Store Donations

We accept donations during store hours.  Receipts are available just ask for one.

Call to schedule a donation pickup, 805-619-0649. We accept furniture, household stuff, clothes, shoes, sporting goods, knick knacks, glassware, holiday decorations, etc. we cannot accept things like mattresses, strollers, car seats, tvs, or broken items.

Supplies for Trips

We need school supplies so that our students are well equipped for the entire school year.  We take school supplies every time that we travel to Haiti.  Our most needed supplies are scissors pencil pouches, pencil sharpeners and always pens and pencils.

We also take personal supplies such as, soap, shampoo, lotion, toothpaste, etc. to Haiti on our volunteer trips.  If you would like to make a donation of supplies contact us by email so we can let you know where to drop them off.  Or, you can write a check and indicate supplies in the memo line.

Airline Miles

If you have airline miles (American Airlines) that you know you will not use you can donate them to us.  We travel to Haiti at least three times a year and could always put your extra miles to good use.  Contact us if this is something you would like to do.
